Our Story
Founded in 2012 and formally registered in 2019, St. Lawrence Medicine began with a simple but important goal: helping people access quality and affordable medicines. Through working closely with communities, we saw that access to medicines was only one part of the healthcare challenge. People also needed trusted information about symptoms and early warning signs, guidance on when to seek care, reliable health services, and health-protection options they could trust.
Today, our work sits at the intersection of medicines, digital health, data, community health, advocacy, and health protection. We are building practical, data-driven solutions that connect people and communities to the information, medicines, services, partnerships, and protection mechanisms they need.
Our work is guided by the belief that every individual deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their location or economic status. We combine global best practices with local knowledge to create solutions that are both innovative and culturally appropriate.

We combine our roots in medicine access with community engagement, digital tools, data, partnerships, and health innovation to understand the needs of underserved communities, respond to those needs, and help people take action earlier. We work with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, technology partners, insurance companies, licensed health insurance providers, suppliers, development organisations, and communities that share our commitment to making healthcare more accessible, affordable, practical, and equitable.
